ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center): Microfiche Collection Moved to Storage in December 2011. The free version of ERIC provides access to more than 1.4 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added multiple times per week. If available, links to full text are included. It includes the complete microfiche collection, 1966 – 2004. Ely Library's ERIC microfiche collection contains more than 400,000 published and unpublished documents on education from 1966 to 1999 ending with document number ED426176. Library of American Civilization: The Library of American
Civilization (LAC) is a collection on microfiche containing 6.5 million
pages of material relating to all aspects of American life and literature
from their beginnings to 1917. Included in the collection are pamphlets,
periodicals, documents, biographies and autobiographies, fictional works,
poetry, collections of various kinds, materials of foreign origin relating
to America, and many rare books not generally available. Access to the
LAC is provided through a printed, four-volume guide to LAC materials located
next to the microfiche in the Microform Area. Search

Library of English Literature: The Microbook Library of English Literature (LEL) is a collection on ultrafiche containing 750,000 pages of material relating to all aspects of English literature from Beowulf to 1900. Included are materials from all periods and of all types: poetry, drama, essays, prose fiction, and religious, philosophical, and critical works both contemporary with the period covered and modern. All of the works of major writers such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, and Milton are included along with sufficient materials for textual study. Secondary materials are included if they are of undoubted importance or have become English classics (e.g. Chapman's Homer). Access to the LEL is provided through a printed, two-volume guide to LEL materials and a computer-generated subject guide located next to the microfiche in the Microform Area. Search Guide
